  10. OrangeCD Suite is a suite of applications that is useful to organize, maintain 
  11. and listen to your music collection. OrangeCD Record Catalog has all the important 
  12. features demanded by music collectors:

  14. * It stores information about any media (CD, DVD, vinyl, VHS, MiniDisc, etc.)
  15. * It supports CDDB/FreeDB Internet database used for CD information retrieval.
  16. * It allows to enter album data in a simple and convenient way.
  17. * Data is organized in conventional, Explorer-like style.
  18. * You can browse albums as well as perform full-text search.
  19. * Album covers, song lyrics, studio recording info and many other attributes 
  20. are stored in database.
  21. * There is a number of import and export plugins to convert the data to and 
  22. from other formats.
  23. * Full set of CD control features, including programmed play, random play and 
  24. integrated volume controls is available in OrangeCD Player.

  36. The latest version of OrangeCD Suite can be downloaded from the following Web

  41. Once you downloaded the distribution archive, copy its content into the 
  42. temporary directory and run setup program. If any older installation of 
  43. OrangeCD exists in your system, it is recommended to uninstall it prior to 
  44. running OrangeCD Suite setup.

  46. During the setup, please follow instructions on display.

  49. Uninstallation
  50. --------------

  52. To remove OrangeCD Suite installation from your system, please use Add/Remove 
  53. Programs icon in Windows Control Panel (usually it can be reached from Start 
  54. menu -> Settings). Please refer Windows Help system for details.

  56. * You must exit OrangeCD Suite applications before attempting to uninstall the 
  57. software. Otherwise, some files will remain in your system, or unnecessary 
  58. reboot will be initiated.

  60. * When OrangeCD Suite deinstalls, it restores Windows CD Player as default 
  61. player. You may be required to reconfigure your existing CD player software.

  64. System Requirements

  67. * Any PC running Microsoft Windows 95/98/2000, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0 or 
  68. Windows XP.
  69. * 16 MB RAM and 4 MB of free hard disk space.
  70. * Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or above.

  72. Note for Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME or Windows XP users:
  73.   You already have a recent version of Internet Explorer installed - no action 
  74. is needed.

  88. The following command line arguments are accepted by OrangeCD Record Catalog:
  89.   /entry:<entry_id>        show specific CD information
  90.   <database_path>          start using the specified database
  91.  
  92. The following command line arguments are accepted by OrangeCD Player:
  93.   /nologo                  suppress OrangeCD logo at startup
  94.   /db:<database_path>      start using the specified database
  95.   <drive_letter>           start on specified CD-ROM drive
  96.   <cda_file>               start playing specific track

  106. OrangeCD is distributed as shareware. That means, you can freely download and 
  107. try it for 30 days. If you find it useful and decide to keep it over this 
  108. evaluation period, you should register it by paying a registration fee.
